- He has been involved in hotel real estate transactions or financings across the globe in excess of EUR 3bn during his career

- Law degree from Heidelberg University, Germany, and a MBA in hotel business administration from Cornell University, New York

- Speaks fluently French,  English, German, and some Spanish
